Save the Date for CWI Week

Every college has traditions that help define its community. This fall, College of Western Idaho (CWI) will begin a new one.

The College will host the first CWI Week Oct. 19 – 23, a weeklong celebration will recognize the people, programs, and partnerships that strengthen CWI and the communities it serves.

Throughout the week, students, employees, alumni, donors, and community partners are invited to connect through events that celebrate student achievement, highlight the College's impact, and strengthen CWI pride. Activities will take place across the College, offering opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate together.

Planned events include:

  • Business Speaker Series — Hosted by the Business Department
  • Community Gaming Events — Hosted by the Computer Science Department
  • Club Fest — Hosted by Student Engagement
  • Restoration Week — Hosted by Agricultural Sciences
  • Spirit Week — Show your spirit with the following themes:
    • Monday, Oct. 19  — Mismatch Monday | Intentionally wear clashing patterns/colors
    • Tuesday, Oct. 20  — Time Machine Tuesday | Dress as your favorite decade
    • Wednesday, Oct. 21  — Western Wednesday | Dress in your favorite western gear y'all
    • Thursday, Oct. 22  — CWI DAY | Show your CWI pride by wearing college gear or colors
    • Friday, Oct. 23  — Favorite Friday | Do you have a favorite sports team? Maybe a favorite band? Wear your favorite gear.

Save the date for Oct. 19 – 23, and plan to join the inaugural CWI Week celebration. Additional events and the full schedule will be announced in the coming months.
