Can students change their minds about using or not using accommodations?
Yes. Once accommodations have been requested and the Letter of Accommodation has been sent out for the current semester, students can choose when to use their accommodations. Students are required to communicate with their instructors about how their accommodations work in their classes. For example: A student may choose to have extended testing time in their math class but not their history class, or they may only need extended testing on the midterm and final exams.
