Scholarships are a great opportunity provided to students at College of Western Idaho (CWI) to help pay for their education.
- Scholarships are available for students based on a variety of criteria such as: fields of study, members of underrepresented groups, residency in certain areas, and demonstrated financial need.
- Typically scholarships offered through the College, CWI Foundation, State of Idaho, and other outside sources do not have to be repaid.
Applying for Scholarships
Applying for scholarships at CWI is easy! Completion of a single application will provide you with automatically-generated scholarship matches, including over 10,000 external scholarship opportunities, allowing you to self-select scholarships of interest.
- Students interested in applying for scholarships must apply to CWI, be accepted, and have myCWI login information.
- To be considered for scholarships with financial need criteria, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) prior to completing the application.

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship
Scholarships of up to $3,500 per academic year are available to eligible Idaho high school graduates attending CWI. Applications are open October through March annually.
