Testing Services at College of Western Idaho (CWI) provides students from other colleges and universities to take exams in a secure and proctored environment. The College is an NCTA Certified Test Center and a member of the NCTA Proctoring Network.

Steps to Test at CWI

Step 1: Contact your school and/or instructor and have them complete the Outside Test Proctor Request form (OTPRF). Once CWI receives the OTPRF from your Instructor, Testing Services will communicate directly with them should our proctors have any questions.

Step 2: Schedule your appointment at least 24-hours prior to your anticipated test time. Testing Services does not accept payments in person. Test appointments range from 1 – 6 hours in length and are charged accordingly. The proctor fee is $25 for the first hour, and $5 per each additional hour. Please choose the correct option to allow you the full testing time (round up if necessary), as you will not be allowed to test past our posted closing hours.

Step 3: To ensure your exam materials have been received by CWI, please call 24 hours prior to your exam appointment. Fees for missed appointments are non-refundable. There is no charge for rescheduling existing appointments if you call before your appointment time.

Step 4: Show up to your scheduled appointment and be sure to bring a valid (non-expired), physical, government-issued photo ID with you to your testing appointment. You will not be allowed to test without valid ID. We do not accept photos of ID for any exam.

Please be aware that CWI will not pay shipping charges for your exam or exam materials. If there is any cost associated with sending us your exam or returning your exam to your school, you will be responsible for arranging payment with your institution.
