College of Western Idaho has many resources for students to use. Some tools have a preferred browser in order to use the tool. Browser compatibility is maintained by the software manufactures. A list is provided to help give you the best experience in the tool.

Adobe Acrobat PDF's
College of Western Idaho creates forms using Adobe Acrobat. To interact with all the features of Adobe Acrobat PDF's you will need to install the latest version Adobe Acrobat Reader.

How to View PDF's
When viewing PDF's from CWI's site please "Right Click on link and Save as...". Choosing "Save as..." will allow you to save the PDF to your system and will allow you to open with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
We have found that viewing PDF's in browsers has not worked very well due to the additional security patches each browser manufacture has implemented for your safety. The different Browsers manufactures have disabled some features that are required to actually fill out the form or view the file as it was meant to be seen.
Before downloading our PDF's please verify the following:
- I have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
- I will "Save as..." in order to download the file and view it.
- I will open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader and not view in the browser.
