Take the Next Step at Start Here Conference

College of Western Idaho (CWI) Entrepreneur Lab will host the Start Here Conference on Monday, June 9, at the Nampa Civic Center. The evening event is designed to inspire entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders across the Treasure Valley.

Whether you are preparing to launch a new idea or navigating the day-to-day challenges of building a business, Start Here Conference will provide encouragement, connection, and practical insight to help you move forward with confidence.

The conference will feature a panel discussion with local entrepreneurs and innovators, including:

  • Tori McKim, co-owner of Flying M Coffee 
  • Oscar Diaz, owner and operator of Relentless Owl
  • Maegan Rupe, co-founder of startup company Powerport Sweater

The conference keynote speaker will be Kristin Armstrong, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and entrepreneur. Armstrong will share her personal journey of perseverance, leadership, and success. A meet-and-greet opportunity will follow the keynote presentation.

“Start Here Conference will be an evening of connection and inspiration for entrepreneurs and leaders who are ready to take the next step,” said Kenton Lee, Director of CWI Entrepreneur Lab. “Whether you are just getting started or already building your dream, you will leave encouraged, energized, and ready to keep moving forward.”

Attendees will also enjoy networking opportunities and refreshments throughout the evening. Tickets are $5 and available for purchase online.
