Street Team Races Out to Meridian Speedway

The CWI Street Teams returned this past weekend for the first of several community outreach events this summer. The Street Teams made their first appearance of 2013 at Meridian Speedway on Saturday, May 15.

As Melissa Weaver dominated the CWI Professional Truck Driving Street Stock class, the Street Team was visiting with racing fans about the opportunities at CWI and encouraging those interested in college to visit collegeofwhatif.com. By night’s end, Speedway attendees were sporting CWI sunglasses and temporary tattoos, and tossing CWI Frisbees.

The Street Teams are excited to head out again, Saturday (June 22), with a visit to Firebird Raceway. Stop by the 36th-annual Fox Hunt at Firebird and catch the gold cup racing and jet car spectacular. Ladies get in free!
