Spring 2024 Checklist for Success

College of Western Idaho (CWI) is excited to welcome students back for the Spring 2024 semester! Week of welcome is underway and below are a few important reminders as well as a checklist for a successful start to the semester.

Week of Welcome

  • Get a free coffee drink or smoothie at the Double Decker Bus, warm up on the second story and find out about resources available to you on campus – including Counseling Services, ASCWI, Library, and Tutoring – during Student Engagement's Week of Welcome events happening the first week of classes.

Wednesday, Jan. 17

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Nampa Campus Academic Building

Thursday, Jan. 18

 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Nampa Campus Micron Education Center

Below are a few important reminders for a successful start to the semester.

Be Prepared

  • Stay connected and on track with myCWI, available online or via the CWIMobile app.
    • View your schedule, access your Self-Service Toolkit and Blackboard, explore resources and services at the College, and more.
  • Check your CWI student email.
  • Connect with CWI on social media.
  • Email your instructor(s) with any course-specific questions.
  • One Stop Student Services is available in-person, online, and by phone with questions or if you are in need of any assistance.

Start the Semester Strong

  • Log in to Blackboard.
    • All courses will be live and available in Blackboard the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 16.
