Brown to Retire After 13 Years at CWI

Published: December 12, 2023

Please join College of Western Idaho (CWI) in celebrating Executive Vice President of Operations, Craig Brown, as he embarks on his next well-deserved chapter of life – retirement!

It is difficult to fully measure the incredible impact Brown has had during his nearly 13-year tenure at CWI.  His dedication, leadership, student focus, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on this grateful institution and will not soon be forgotten.

Brown has shaped the landscape of our operations with a vision that is both inspiring and transformative. His ability to navigate challenges, foster innovation, strategize, and build strong, collaborative teams has set a standard that will continue for years to come.

Brown’s legacy will live on as we watch the seeds he has sown with the Permanent Building Fund come to fruition in the coming years with the establishment and expansion of our Nampa and Boise campuses.

To celebrate Brown, a retirement reception will be held in his honor on Tuesday, Dec. 19. All CWI faculty and staff are invited to attend.
