Congratulations to College of Western Idaho (CWI) Executive Director of Professional and Custom Training, Autumn Braase, who has been named one of Idaho Business Review's 2026 Women of the Year honorees.
The annual Women of the Year Awards recognize women who are making a significant impact on Idaho's business, economic, and community well-being through leadership, mentorship, and community involvement. The program celebrates influential leaders across industries who are helping shape Idaho's future through professional achievement, service, and advocacy.
“Being selected for Idaho Business Review’s Top 50 Women of the Year reflects the level of importance that Idaho places on education,” Braase said. “I’m honored to represent CWI and stand with other women leaders shaping Idaho’s future.”
Braase plays a key role in connecting the College and industry. During her three years at CWI, she has built and led the Professional and Custom Training team, expanding programs that help employers develop their workforce and individuals gain new skills. Working closely with partners across the College, she has helped create customized training solutions for organizations including Jacksons Food Stores and First Federal Bank, expanded Applied Technology and Apprenticeship pathways in collaboration with Idaho Power, and supported the growth of Workforce Development's technology and business programs.
Through her leadership, CWI continues to expand affordable and accessible education opportunities while helping employers access the skilled talent needed to meet the demands of Idaho's growing economy.
“Autumn brings a powerful combination of economic development experience and strategic perspective to her role at CWI,” said AVP of Employer Partnerships and Workforce Development, Trevi Hardy. “She has a deep understanding of what businesses and industries need to thrive, and she consistently translates that insight into education and training pathways that create real opportunity for our community.”
Braase joins an esteemed group of leaders from across the state whose contributions are helping make Idaho a stronger and more prosperous place to live and work.
The Women of the Year Awards ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 10, where Idaho Business Review will celebrate this year's honorees, including Braase, and announce the 2026 Woman of the Year.
Congratulations again on this well-deserved recognition!
