College of Western Idaho (CWI) students will soon have access to a brand-new, state-of-the-art center where they can receive admissions assistance, connect with support services, access academic resources, and find welcoming spaces to study and collaborate.
The Nampa Campus CapEd Student Success Center (NCSC) will begin serving students June 29, with several departments and services opening in phases as they relocate to the new facility. As operations become available, NCSC will provide a convenient, one-stop destination where students can gather, connect, learn, and access the resources they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Designed to enhance the student experience, NCSC will bring key services and resources together under one roof. Once fully operational, the facility will feature the Bookstore, Learning Commons, student support services, and flexible collaboration spaces that promote learning, engagement, and career readiness.

For the most current location and hours of operation, please visit the Bookstore webpage.
Scheduling Spaces
As the building prepares to welcome students and the public, employees can now view the NCSC in 25Live. While rooms are visible in the scheduling system as of June 22, a building-wide scheduling blackout remains in place until June 29, the building's first day of operation. Events and meetings may not be scheduled in the NCSC before that date.
Beginning June 29, employees may reserve select NCSC spaces through Express Scheduling for single-occurrence requests, including NCSC 101, 210, 214, 215, and 302.
Students will also have access to reservable focus rooms, group study rooms, and meeting spaces throughout the NCSC. Focus rooms provide quiet space for individual study or virtual meetings, while group study rooms and meeting spaces support collaborative work and presentations. Additional open study and collaboration spaces throughout the building will remain available on a first-come, first-served basis during building hours.
Signage throughout the building will direct students to the reservation page, where they can review room availability, reservation guidelines, and submit requests. Questions about room scheduling may be directed to scheduling@cwi.edu.
As services begin transitioning into the NCSC, students and employees are encouraged to visit individual service webpages for the most current information regarding locations, hours of operation, and available resources. The opening of the NCSC represents an important milestone in CWI's commitment to developing a campus environment dedicated to providing accessible, student-centered services and spaces that help students succeed.
