College of Western Idaho (CWI) offers the Certified Family Home program, designed to prepare you for creating and managing a certified family home in Idaho. This program is ideal for individuals who wish to offer a safe, supportive, and caring environment to adults who are elderly or have disabilities.

The program covers various aspects of running a family home, including medication management, care techniques, and compliance with state regulations. You will gain valuable insights into creating a supportive atmosphere while meeting the needs of those in your care.
