Visiting Artist Series Welcomes Hamlet

Enjoy the excitement of Shakespearience as College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Visiting Artist Series welcomes the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Thursday, April 22, for a recorded performance of Hamlet 2021 followed by a live Q & A session you won’t want to miss!

Students and community members are invited to take part as the Idaho Shakespeare Festival brings an exhilarating new adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, Hamlet, to life offering viewers a timeless tale with a contemporary spin.

To participate, plan to watch Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s recorded performance of Hamlet 2021 at any time prior to the Q & A session on April 22. The performance is 50 minutes in length and will be closed captioned.. Enrich your experience with the Hamlet 2021 Viewing Guide linked below.

Following your viewing of the performance, join the Hamlet 2021 creative team and cast members for a Q & A session. The session will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, and will be interpreted in American Sign Language.

CWI’s Visiting Artist Series is made possible through a grant from Idaho Commission on the Arts, which is supported by National Endowment for the Arts. Visiting Artist Series workshops, featuring visual and performing artists, are free and open to the entire CWI community.
