Finding Happiness

Published: May 9, 2017

Meet Jennifer. Jennifer will graduate from College of Western Idaho (CWI) with an Associate of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Healthcare on May 13, 2017. Jennifer, a wife of 19 years and mother of five, has struggled with low self-esteem and depression most of her life. Through her journey at CWI, Jennifer gained much more than an education. She experienced self-discovery and increased self-confidence which led her to finding true happiness. By earning a degree, Jennifer has inspired her kids to believe in themselves and has shown them how hard work makes dreams come true! Jennifer plans to pursue a career in phlebotomy, a field of work she loves, and looks forward to using her education to help others. She will complete her phlebotomy certification at CWI this summer and transfer to Boise State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
