Published: April 27, 2018

Lindsey Wallgren, Assistant Professor in the Administrative Specialist program, has been named College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Faculty of Distinction for April 2018. Wallgren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She has been teaching at the College for the past four years. Prior to teaching, Wallgren worked in various higher education roles for over 13 years. She loves seeing students experience their light bulb moments.

Wallgren’s article, “Do-it-Yourself: Six Tips for Designing Group Work Evaluations”, appeared in “Techniques Magazine”, the official publication for the Association for Career and Technical Education. She has also presented at various local and regional conferences for educators.

In her spare time, Wallgren stays busy shuffling her two kids to taekwondo practices and tournaments and hanging out with her husband. She enjoys reading, although these days “reading” means listening to audiobooks.
