Celebrate First-Generation College Students on Nov. 5

Join College of Western Idaho (CWI) for the First-Generation Awareness event, a special occasion dedicated to celebrating and supporting first-generation college students — those whose parents have not earned a bachelor’s degree. Whether you identify as a first-gen student or simply want to learn more, everyone is welcome to attend.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited.

Discover the unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs of first-generation college students and graduates, including current students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Enjoy delicious food, engage with our first-gen panel, and leave with valuable connections and resources to support your academic journey.

Why November?
November is a time to honor the resilience and achievements of first-generation students, and we invite our community to come together in celebration.
