5F. Center for Teaching and Learning
All College of Western Idaho faculty have access to instructional support through the college’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). The CTL organization should be available for all faculty under “My Organizations” in Blackboard. The Center for Teaching and Learning offers a range of activities to assist faculty in becoming better teaching professionals. Their mission is to improve the classroom experience for faculty and students through tools, training and technology designed to create a team of faculty learners and experts.
Faculty should consult with their direct supervisors regarding any required CTL training, which may include Faculty Foundations and online/hybrid certification. Faculty training records of CTL courses and trainings are available in the CTL Blackboard Site under the “CTL Training Record” link.
