The United States Government, through the Department of Education, has made funds available for several federal grant programs. Federal grants are awarded to students with financial need. All students are urged to apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is used to determine a student’s need and eligibility for financial aid, including grants.
Scholarships are a type of aid to help students pay for their education and are typically offered via state, CWI Foundation, CWI, or outside sources. Like grants, they do not have to be repaid. Awards are available for students based on a variety of criteria, including, but limited to: particular fields of study, members of underrepresented groups, residency in certain areas, demonstrated financial need, and/or other factors.
The CWI scholarship application for the Spring 2022 Semester is open for the On Ramp scholarship only for those students enrolled in the Swift Program. Scholarships for the 2022-23 Academic Year will open Jan. 3, 2022!
