This scholarship portal allows students to apply for all CWI Foundation Scholarships in one location. College of Western Idaho Foundation offers students the opportunity to apply for scholarships that can help finance your education. Scholarships are competitive, but do not assume you cannot receive one. The CWI Foundation offers scholarships for a variety of students and the qualifications for GPA and financial need vary. Scholarships are a great source of free money available to students who meet certain eligibility requirements. Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a scholarship committee to determine that eligibility is met.

1. Apply for Admission - New Students Only
Be sure to complete a CWI admission application as soon as possible. You will need your student identification (ID) number in order to apply for scholarships through the CWI Foundation scholarship portal. The application for admission is available online. A CWI One Stop Student Services Representative will contact you once your application for admission is received. After your transcripts are received, you will be sent a letter with your student ID number.

2. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Federal student aid programs such as grants, work-study, or student loans, can make CWI an even better value! Please complete the FAFSA online as soon as possible - the Federal Financial Aid application process can take several weeks. Be sure to obtain a FSA ID that can be used to sign your FAFSA electronically as well as access your FAFSA later if you need to make corrections. Please note: You must fill out a FAFSA for any scholarship where demonstrated need is required.

3. Complete your CWI Scholarship Application
Click the link below to begin your scholarship application. You will use your myCWI username and password to login. You may save your work and come back to it later. It is important to have your completed scholarship application submitted by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Most scholarships are awarded prior to the start of the fall semester.
