Academic Contract Process
The purpose of the Academic Contract is to help students who are on Academic Contract status regain Good Standing. If you have been notified that you are on Academic Contract, you will need to work with your advisor to complete an Academic Contract. The full process is outlined in the steps below:

1. Reflect on your academic progress
During the Academic Contract process, you’ll be expected to answer some questions about your academic progress. Use these resources to reflect on your progress so far, including your values, motivations, goals, and strengths.
- Being a Successful Student Presentation (Please do not use Internet Explorer to view presentation.)
- Self-Reflection Questions
- How to find transcript/standing information

2. Make an appointment with your advisor
- Schedule time with your advisor to complete your Academic Contract.
Locate your advisor- Not sure who your advisor is? Email academicadvising@cwi.edu or contact One Stop Student Services.
- Find your advisor’s contact information and appointment calendar
- Please ensure you have submitted your Self-Reflection Questions from Step 1.
- Schedule time with your advisor to complete your Academic Contract.

3. Attend your contract appointment
- At this appointment you can expect to discuss the reasons for your academic progress to this point, to review your academic plan, and resources to help you regain Good Standing.
- Your advisor will also help you complete the Academic Contract.
