College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) program is designed to introduce you to the core of modern industrial control systems. This program offers in-depth training in PLCs, crucial for anyone aspiring to work in industrial automation and control.
The program is structured into two separate classes, each focusing on different aspects of PLCs. You will start with the basics and progressively advance to more complex topics. Throughout the program, you will gain hands-on experience with PLC hardware and software, learning how to program, troubleshoot, and maintain these vital systems. This training is not only about technical skills; it is about empowering you to play a pivotal role in the efficiency and innovation of modern industries.
Prepare detailed drawings of architectural and structural features of buildings or drawings and topographical relief maps used in civil engineering projects, such as highways, bridges, and public works. Use knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
