Combine Education with Earning Opportunities for an In-Demand Career as an Electrician
Are you ready to spark a dynamic career in the electrical field? The Electrical Apprenticeship program at College of Western Idaho (CWI) is your gateway to becoming a skilled electrician. This program aligns with the 'earn while you learn' model, allowing you to be employed while gaining essential skills and knowledge in electrical work and meets the State of Idaho requirements for apprentices, setting you on the path to test for journeyman certification.
During the apprenticeship, you will engage in practical training, learning about electrical theory, code compliance, and installation techniques. This comprehensive approach combines employment in the field with classroom instruction, ensuring you develop both the theoretical understanding and hands-on skills needed in today's electrical trade. The program not only prepares you for journeyman certification but also equips you with in-demand skills crucial for a successful electrical career.
The cost of the Electrical Apprenticeship program is $365 per quarter or $1,450 for the full series.
Beyond the annual enrollment fee, students should anticipate additional expenses for course materials required throughout the program.
