Safety Net Resources

Resources on campus and throughout the community are available for College of Western Idaho students seeking assistance with child care, food, healthcare, housing, or transportation. Explore the information below to learn more. 

Five food and hygiene pantries are located throughout CWI's campuses where students and employees are welcome to help themselves to what they need. Find a pantry location, learn how to donate to the pantry, and explore local food pantries and food assistance programs. Email CWIFoodPantry@cwi.edu for more information. 

Food Security

  • Full Circle Health provides affordable full-service healthcare to individuals and families. There is a discounted fee schedule available to patients who qualify.
  • Terry Reilly Health Services is a community health center dedicated to providing affordable, comprehensive healthcare. They offer medical and dental care as well as mental health services and have locations throughout the Treasure Valley.
  • Genesis Community Clinic offers free medical, dental, mental health, or social services to those who are uninsured or have a lower income.
  • The Care House Nampa is a free clinic providing medical, counseling, and dental services for those who do not have health insurance and live at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level.

CWI students may obtain a free bus pass to ride the Valley Ride Transit System at One Stop Student Services.

Student Resource Fair

Participate in the Virtual Student Resource Fair to connect with on- and off-campus assistance and resources such as:

  • No-cost or low-cost community resources for medical needs, food, childcare, financial constraints, housing, etc.
  • Student clubs, organizations, and events.
  • Academic advising, tutoring, mental health counseling, disability accommodations, testing, and veteran services.
