Counseling Resources

As cost may be a concern for those seeking counseling services, resources are available to help eliminate or reduce costs. 

  • Check with your health insurance provider and/or employer to learn about your mental health services benefits and obtain a list of approved providers in your area.
  • Many employers offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which provide referrals and cover the costs of a specific number of visits.
  • For those paying out of pocket, the local providers listed below offer low-cost counseling services, which may include sessions with an intern working toward their graduate degree and licensure.

Domestic & Intimate Partner Violence

A number of local and national organizations provide support for those who have experienced any type of interpersonal violence or abuse including dating violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, elder abuse, and child abuse. These services are free and safe.
