Yanet joined CWI in October of 2018. She has been working in education for over seven years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and minor in Spanish from Oregon State University and Master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
Yanet enjoys working in higher education and helping students be successful. Yanet is passionate about helping students overcome academic and personal challenges. Professionally, Yanet is particularly interested in creative arts therapy, nutrition and integrative medicine.
In her free time, Yanet enjoys to hike, dance, exercise, and travel locally and internationally. She loves to discover new places and food.
