MacDonagh began her journey in surgery while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at St. Luke’s Hospital. She graduated from College of Western Idaho with her Associate of Applied Science and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential in 2012. For just over 10 years, she greatly enjoyed expanding her clinical skills in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and plastics at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center. She is currently working at Treasure Valley Hospital and plans to complete her Certified Surgical First Assistant certification in the spring of 2025. She found her love of teaching through many years as a precept to new employees as well as CST students in the operating room.
In her time off, MacDonagh loves spending time with her family enjoying the outdoors. She has lived in and loved Idaho her entire life and is married with two crazy, yet wonderful, children.
