Born and raised in McCall, Idaho Sean studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at BSU. He later graduated from the University of Hawai'i, Manoa and received an MA by research writing on Sartre and Virtue Ethics at the University of Kent, in Canterbury, England. Sean's doctorate studies were at the Universiteit van Tilburg, in the Netherlands, where he studied Virtue Ethics, Philosophy of Mind, Environmental Ethics, and Moral Psychology. Before teaching for CWI, he worked as a ski and snowboard instructor and as a raft guide.
