Nicole has been working in the field of early childhood for over 15 years, specializing in early childhood mental health, behavior support, and reflective practice. She attended San Diego State University earning a Master of Science in Child Development and an Early Childhood Socio-Emotional Behavior Regulation Intervention Specialist Graduate Certificate. After graduating from SDSU, she continued working as a Program and Evaluation Manager in the SDSU Child Development Department. It was then that she found her passion for mentoring future early childhood educators. After working for the San Diego YMCA and Navy Southwest Child and Youth Programs, she moved to Meridian, Idaho. While caring for her twin girls, she began to ease her way back into the field of early childhood by becoming the Education Director of a local early childhood education center. She then became the Professional Development Director at Lee Pesky Learning Center in Boise, Idaho. Nicole is excited to take the next step in her career as an Early Childhood Instructor at CWI!
