What I Do

I am an advisor, and my role involves being a mentor to students, assisting them in mapping out their academic journey, helping them select courses, exploring potential career paths, and connecting them to resources to assist in any challenges they may face, all with the aim of ensuring a successful and fulfilling educational experience.

Biography

Lindsey grew up in a small town in Nebraska.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from the University of Wyoming in 2009.  She then moved to Oregon for a dream job, the lead animal handler at a private zoo.  Lindsey hand raised a wide variety of animals including; baby tigers, lions, leopards, lemurs, skunks, opossums, foxes, and more.  Lindsey then relocated to Boise, ID to be closer to family. She started out at CWI as an Admissions specialist and then transitioned into Advising.  Higher education was a great fit for Lindsey since she worked in the Admissions office at the University of Wyoming as a work-study student. Lindsey loves helping students pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.
