Kim Scheffer graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in Sociology and a Master’s of Public Administration. She received her PhD in Education Leadership with an emphasis in Leadership, Policy, and Change. Her research focus was on first-year persistence and retention of students in community colleges. Kim is very proud of the fact that she has been teaching with CWI since it first opened its doors in 2007.
Prior to working full time for CWI, she was a member of the United States Army as a Medical Service Corps Officer. She retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2012.
When not working she can usually be found in McCall waterskiing, wakeboarding, snow-skiing, or just relaxing with her family and friends.
