After over 15 years in healthcare and experiencing the incredible impact nurses can have on lives and families, I am excited to be a part of educating the next generation of nurses.
I started as a nursing assistant at the age of 19 on a medical-surgical floor while I was in school for my BSN at California State University Chico. After graduating in 2010 with my BSN, I started working on the same unit as an RN. Shortly later, I transferred to the OB department and worked in labor and delivery and postpartum for over six years. After moving to Idaho, I started working in the outpatient setting at an OBGYN office and became a certified childbirth educator.
Outside of my career, I am a mom to two sons. I love camping with my boys and husband and am an avid reader.
