Jared has been around all types of powersports and small engine equipment from a very young age. Starting with making a go-kart go faster, helping his dad work on his construction equipment, or never wanting to turn off his snowmobile, he was always involved with anything that had an engine. Jared came from Washington to enroll in the Powersports and Small Engine Repair Program. After graduating the program he had the opportunity to work in Alaska repairing and maintaining small construction equipment. He then worked as a technician at a Yamaha dealership in Moscow, ID and also as a technician at Carl’s Cycle Sales in Boise, ID. When receiving the opportunity in 2010 to return to the Powersports Program as an instructor he couldn’t pass up the offer. Jared’s passion of powersports equipment has turned into an amazing career of instructing students how to diagnose, estimate and repair all types of equipment. When he is not teaching he enjoys riding ATV’s with his kids, snowmobiling, dirt biking, mountain biking and enjoying the outdoors with his family.
