What I Do
I am an advisor, and my role involves being a mentor to students, assisting them in mapping out their academic journey, helping them select courses, exploring potential career paths, and connecting them to resources to assist in any challenges they may face, all with the aim of ensuring a successful and fulfilling educational experience.

Biography
Eddie first joined the College of Western Idaho in 2016. During his time with the institution, he has had the opportunity to work in various roles. He is now excited to be a part of the Student Advising & Success team, where he can continue to support students by providing guidance and resources, so they can reach their academic and career goals. As a first generation himself he understands the importance of having people around that can provide direction and assist through the college process.
Eddie has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Idaho. When Eddie is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to the gym, or watching his favorite sports teams play.
