I am originally from San Diego, CA. I have been in the Northwest for many years now and appreciate all the wonders of Idaho. With that said, I like to be outdoors as much as possible camping, biking, and hiking. After spending 15 years as a musician and pursuing that dream, I went back to school in my late 30’s and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Lewis-Clark State College, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development at Idaho State University.

After finishing with a degree encompassing elementary education, I have found that the fire that I had inside didn’t ignite as strong as it did for the environment of higher education. I believe college is the platform for complete transformation educationally, mentally, and emotionally. I believe that college is a journey. It is a journey that I experienced and understand; moreover I appreciate the many challenges that the college journey incorporates. My ambitions and motivations are stemmed from seeing our students along their journey and allowing them to realize and recognize their strengths within their voyage.
