CWI Introduces Valuable to the Core Initiative
In an effort to promote the College of Western Idaho (CWI) Core Values, CWI has introduced a new initiative aimed at raising awareness of the College’s values as well as recognize employees who exemplify these important institutional characteristics. In the coming weeks and months, CWI will introduce the new “Valuable to the Core” materials, including:
- banners
- bulletin boards
- nomination cards
- and more!
The “Valuable to the Core” tools can be found on myCWI under Faculty Staff Resources > Human Resources > CWI Employee Satisfaction Survey Summaries. Employees are encouraged to use the nomination cards to recognize colleagues who personify CWI’s Core Values by posting them on the designated bulletin boards. Select individuals will also be invited to attend a quarterly lunch with six Staff and Faculty of the Month recipients.
Employees should direct any questions about the “Valuable to the Core” initiative to supervisors.

These important documents can be found in two locations on myCWI:

College Resources>Campus Safety and Security>Environmental Health and Safety>Safety Reference
Please contact Nikki Houston at 208.562.3545 or nikkihouston@cwi.edu with any questions or to submit updates to the lists.
