CWI to Start Showcasing Programs in New Event Series
College of Western Idaho (CWI) is rolling out the ‘CWI Showcase’ series of events to spotlight current and new programs across the college. These showcase events will group programs by industry and/or disciplines to create similar areas of interest for future students of CWI to experience and engage with programs. Events will move between facilities depending on the focus and programs that are participating.
These events focus on the following objectives:
- Recruit future students
- Create awareness for programs at CWI within our community
- Get interested community members to events at CWI locations related to the programs
- Partner with local industry to support the value of programs at CWI
The development of the new CWI Showcase events has been a partnership between all areas of the college. The partnership is allowing all areas of the college from Outreach to Academic Transfer to focus on what they do best as we recruit new students to CWI.
The first of these events is the ‘CWI Showcase – Science and Healthcare’ at the Nampa Campus Academic Building on April 7, 4-7 p.m.
Be on the lookout for future events as we continue to put plans together for the second round of efforts.
