College of Western Idaho (CWI) celebrated another incredible year in 2014, with a number of new accomplishments, experiences, and opportunities shared around the College. The CWI Marketing Department joined in the innovation by introducing a new blogging platform on the College’s website. CWI’s inaugural blogs came thanks to collaboration with the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Department. CWI’s STEM faculty have contributed a series of blog posts which can be viewed at the bottom of related program pages, like Biology, and on faculty and staff directory pages, like Steve Lysne. WATCH: 12 Days of CWI Christmas
In case you missed it, College of Western Idaho (CWI) celebrated the end of 2014 with a special production of the 12 Days of CWI Christmas. The CWI Marketing Department teamed with the student-led Media Club to present the video. The song, which was sung by members of the CWI Music Department, is accompanied by fun video clips featuring students from around the College.
Spring Semester Deadlines Near
College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) deadlines for registration and payment for Spring semester are right around the corner. Class registration and payment must be complete by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9. The deadlines are part of CWI’s Successful Start initiative. Spring semester classes start on Jan. 12.
Sharing in Bert's Alerts
Each semester at College of Western Idaho (CWI) means the return of a number of wonderful activities occurring throughout the College. The Marketing and Advancement Department encourages employees to share these happenings through Bert’s Alerts. Activities may include events, recognition of employees and students, changes in processes or policies that affect employees, or simply letting peers know what is going on in departments or campus locations.
Bert’s Alerts requests can be submitted through Help Desk, by selecting “Marketing” under the Request Type drop down menu. Bert’s Alerts is distributed every Friday and the deadline for submitting content is end of day Thursday. Please direct all questions regarding Bert’s Alerts to communications@cwi.edu.
