February Staff of the Month - Juanita Manzo

Published: March 3, 2017

This year’s February Staff of the Month is Juanita Manzo who is the Administrative Assistant for Facilities Planning and Management here at the college. Juanita has been with CWI since November of 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from New Mexico State and a Master of Science in Endocrinology from Washington State. Juanita displays the core values, Acting with Integrity, Respecting the Dignity of Opinions and Serving all in an Atmosphere of Caring.

Her nomination notes, “Juanita has done an extraordinary job organizing the myCWI facilities site in a manner that is consistent, clear, user friendly, and easy to navigate.  She has drastically improved communication and is always approachable. She welcomes feedback and constructive criticism and will do anything to improve CWI. In addition to her very busy role with the facilities department, she also services on the Events Committee and the Culture and Employee Engagement Committee, and is known to be level-headed and an effective collaborator, communicator, and planner.  It’s evident that Juanita is interested in making all of CWI the best it can be. It’s easy to see by her hard work and commitment that she has a genuine concern for our faculty, staff and students.   We are so lucky to have her as part of the CWI team.”

In her spare time Juanita enjoys cooking, reading, drawing, painting, traveling, and being outdoors.

Please join us in congratulating Juanita.
