College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Dental Assisting program is celebrating the professional accomplishments of its Associate Professor, Monica Satake. Satake recently completed her master’s degree in Health Education from Idaho State University and was also published in a national industry journal. In completing her graduate degree, Satake defended her thesis on Development and Evaluation of an Effective Brain-Based Oral Hygiene Curriculum for Impoverished Elementary Students. She submitted a condensed version of her paper to The Dental Assistant Journal, which was accepted and published in the journal’s May/June 2016 issue.
Congratulations to Monica on both achievements. Her paper can be read in The Dental Assisting Journal online.
