College of Western Idaho (CWI) is excited to launch a new online career resource, powered by Jobu Jobs, pairing skilled and workforce-ready students with available job openings in the Treasure Valley. This service is available to current CWI students and new graduates, as well as alumni looking to join the workforce.
Students will create a profile on the Jobu Jobs mobile app or online, then enter CWI's event code, 747455 to search postings from local companies that are currently looking for qualified candidates.
Employers mark candidates they are interested in, while job seekers “like” available postings. When there is a match between the employer and candidate, messaging capabilities are enabled to schedule interviews and discuss expectations.
“I’m excited CWI can officially offer employment matchmaking services via Jobu Jobs – a company founded right here in the Treasure Valley,” said Tyler Brown, Director of Workforce Development Operations. “We are now connecting individuals with employers that want to hire our great students. This is one more way we can help build our community while helping individuals find their next great job.”
