MEDIA ADVISORY - College of Western Idaho (CWI) sent 10 students to Orlando, Fla., May 8-12, to take part in the 2013 Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference. The students returned home with plenty to be proud of, as the group enjoyed success in several of their individual competitions. In total, the College took home 18 national awards including third-place trophies in four different events.
Leading the way for CWI was Tim Wall, who earned third-place finishes in Project Management Concepts and Administrative Support Concepts. He also captured top-10 honors in Banking and Finance, Video Production Team, and Management, Marketing, and Human Resources to round out the weekend.
Joining Wall with third-place awards was Aleana Hernandez, Melissa Bausch, and Beth Rausch. Hernandez placed third in Integrated Office Applications, while also teaming up with Bausch and Rausch for a third-place finish in Administrative Support Team.
