College of Western Idaho Celebrates State-of-the-Industry Facility

MEDIA ADVISORYCollege of Western Idaho Board of Trustees and President Bert Glandon are excited to announce a dedication and grand opening event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, to celebrate the new CWI Micron Center for Professional Technical Education.

Nampa, Idaho

The dedication and grand opening event will feature a ribbon cutting, refreshments, and guided tours of the facility. Guest speakers include First Lady Lori Otter and Nampa Mayor Tom Dale who will discuss the impact the new center will have on the region.

CWI is thrilled to introduce the Treasure Valley to this 176,000 square foot, state-of-the-industry facility that is providing professional-technical and workforce development training opportunities to support local industry. The Micron Center is home to nine CWI professional-technical programs and comprehensive student services. Doors opened for class at the Micron Center on Aug. 27, 2012.
