College of Western Idaho's (CWI) Juried Art Exhibition is hosted annually by the College's Visual and Performing Arts department. Art is judged by a professional artist chosen from the community each year and displayed during the College's annual Connections Project event.

Entry Details
Students may submit up to three (3) original works or art to the Juried Art Exhibition. Each submission must include the following:
- Images or Video Links: Up to three image files (jpg format) or a viewable video link.
- For video submissions:
- Provide a list of works with links to online or downloadable content (no login, password, or membership required).
- Videos must be under 300 seconds.
- Accepted formats include YouTube or Vimeo links, which must remain valid and active until jury results are received.
- For video submissions:
- Artist Statement: A PDF document of fewer than 100 words.
- Optional: A photo of the artist (jpg format).
For additional submissions, click on Submission #2 or #3 and repeat the process.
Students are expected to adhere to CWI’s commitment to academic integrity when submitting their work and strive to submit original work that does not infringe on the copyright or other rights of any other person or entity. Exhibition Requirements

Installation Readiness: All accepted work must arrive ready for installation, including any necessary framing. Works that are not gallery-ready may be excluded from the final exhibition. Any accepted work that differs significantly from the submission images or demonstrates poor presentation or craftsmanship will be disqualified.

Exhibition Duration: All artwork must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition.

Photography & Usage Rights: The Visual and Performing Arts Department at CWI reserves the right to photograph accepted work for educational and promotional purposes. The artist retains full copyright of the exhibited work beyond these uses.

Liability: While every precaution will be taken in handling and exhibiting the works, CWI is not responsible for any loss or damage, including during shipping or after the pick-up date. The work will not be insured but will be secured while on display. CWI is not liable for damage caused by the failure of the artwork, the installation system provided by the artist, or the degradation of materials and craftsmanship.
