About
Susan Barker is a thoughtful, balanced, and caring therapist. Her practice is rooted in empathetic care, and she is truly a great listener and offers direct and warm counseling.
Barker attended Boise State and completed her undergraduate degree at George Fox University. She returned to school later in life, completing her master’s degree in the field of counseling at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She has provided therapy for teens and adults in private practice and hospitals, most recently counseling students at Augusta University. She has an enthusiasm for serving students in higher education, knowing herself the unique challenges adult students may face returning to the classroom.
Outside of the office, Barker loves to spend time with family and the family dog Jack. She enjoys movies, reading, cooking, yoga, and walking on the Greenbelt.
