With more than 35 years of experience in early childhood education, Mary Griffin has dedicated her career to supporting young children, families, and future educators. She began her studies at the University of Illinois, earning a degree in psychology and human development. During graduate school, she taught in the university’s laboratory school, an experience that sparked her passion for teacher preparation programs and hands-on learning environments.

Griffin joined College of Western Idaho in 2016. She especially values the opportunity to work with college students, preschool children, and families, and considers teaching at CWI the perfect combination of all three passions.
