What I Do
Lindsey Zahller is an advisor. Her role involves being a mentor to students, assisting them in mapping out their academic journey, helping them select courses, exploring potential career paths, and connecting them to resources to assist in any challenges they may face — all with the aim of ensuring a successful and fulfilling educational experience.
About
Zahller grew up in a small town in Nebraska. She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from the University of Wyoming in 2009. She then moved to Oregon for a dream job, the lead animal handler at a private zoo where she hand raised a wide variety of animals including baby tigers, lions, leopards, lemurs, skunks, opossums, foxes, and more. Zahller then relocated to Boise, Idaho, to be closer to family. She started out at College of Western IdahoI as an admissions specialist and then transitioned into advising. Higher education was a great fit for her since she worked in the Admissions office at the University of Wyoming as a work-study student. She loves helping students pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.
