I earned my first pair of B.S. degrees from MIT in 1986, in Physics and Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences. I then received an M.S. from Caltech in Astronomy in 1992 and a Ph.D. in 1994. Subsequently, I earned another B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University in 2003 and an M.S. degree in the same field in 2005. I have taught in various capacities at Idaho State University (1994 – 1997), Washington State University (2000 – 2001), Boise State University (2005), College of Idaho (2010 – 2011) and the College of Western Idaho (since 2010). I also currently serve as the Vice President of the Boise Astronomical Society.
