Looking to build leadership skills? College of Western Idaho's leadership development programs are designed to help you do just that. With several areas of focus, participation in a leadership program can help you:

Ignite Leadership

Ignite Leadership is an introductory program and transformative experience for students interested in exploring their leadership potential. Join us for this exciting opportunity.

Individualized Training

Individualized Ignite Leadership training is available for student clubs at the College or for faculty teaching a CWI 101 Connecting With Ideas class. Contact Sitlaly Escamilla at sitlalyescamilla@cwi.edu to get on the schedule or learn more.

LEAD: The Series

LEAD is designed to engage advanced student leaders in a series of developmental workshops informed by the Five Exemplary Practices of Leadership model. Participants must apply and be accepted to join and is only offered once each academic year.

Leadership Certificate Program

The Leadership Certificate Program is a self-paced, comprehensive experience for any student to participate in to design their own journey through leadership.

To participate, please complete an interest form.
Following submission, you will receive an email to schedule a quick meeting with a program advisor to go over the commitments and responsibilities of those enrolled in the program and answer any questions you may have.
