Once you are registered for classes, information about required course materials for each of your classes may be found in Student Planning or by visiting the Bookstore in-person or online.
Course Material Descriptions
Special course fees, added to the cost of tuition for select classes, are used to pay for special equipment, labs, and materials. Visit Special Course Fees to learn more about the purpose of these fees, view a list of approved fees by academic year, and find information about the opt-out process.

Courses utilizing IncludED deliver all required instructional materials at an additional cost to students as part of their tuition and fees rather than as a separate purchase from the Bookstore.
- IncludED fees vary by class and are listed within the descriptions of applicable course sections in Student Planning.
- Classes utilizing IncludED will be marked with an icon indicating additional fees.
- Click on the class link to show section details which will include a list of IncludED fees associated with that particular class.
- Students are granted access to IncludED materials on the first day of class.
- Physical copies of course materials may be picked up at the Bookstore or ordered online.
- Digital copies of course materials will be provided the first day of class via Canvas by your instructor.
Open Education Resources (OER) are textbooks or course materials available to students at no cost and part of the College's Z-degree initiative.
- According to the Idaho State Board of Education, OER are "teaching, learning, and research materials that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license, such as a Creative Commons license, that permits free use and repurposing by others."
- OER are available to students on the first day of class.

- Z-degree classes will be marked with an icon indicating the total textbook cost.
