Onramp at CWI

College of Western Idaho (CWI) is proud to partner with Boise State UniversityIdaho Digital Learning Alliance, and Apple's Community Education Initiative to form the Onramp Program, part of a larger initiative to address current trends in the programming industry and equipping communities with the skills and digital tools they need to help solve challenges.

Expanding Access to Technology

Onramp equips CWI learners with access to digital devices and meaningful learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, while also creating opportunities for children and families to engage in technology-rich experiences across the Treasure Valley.

Using Apple's Everyone Can Code and Everyone Can Create curriculum, Onramp helps learners of all skill levels build foundational technology, design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. These learning experiences introduce concepts in coding, design, and communication techniques, preparing participants for continued learning and career growth.
